Work-related stress can be hugely problematic for organizational leaders who can struggle with long work hours, economic pressures & often conflicting priorities.. Stress can impair critical thinking, decision making, the immune system and even in the long term reduce grey matter in critical regions of the brain that regulate emotion and important physiological functions.
Develop an understanding of the stress response
When your brain faces a perceived threat, stress hormones flood your system, activating the “fight-or-flight” response & prepares your body to respond. Building awareness & learning the tools to identify these physical and mental reactions are the first steps toward learning how to manage your stress.
Stress habits & triggers
Part of managing your stress involves building awareness around the situations, events and people that trigger your stress response & your habit of reactions. In addition, coaching will help you ascertain how your own leadership style influences workplace interactions and how to address the aspects of your management approach that are contributing to stress.
Understand how to direct & develop neuroplasticity to create long term systematic change

Learn stress management techniques
Executive coaching can teach you how to calm your brain and body most effectively, thereby allowing your critical thinking to reengage enabling you to view things from a different broader perspective.
