Sound all too familiar. Don’t worry you are in safe hands I have been there one too many times. Starting out strong powering along losing weight then baam caving to the same old tired impulses & habits & gaining it all back again. Caught in a cycle of diet fail diet fail. Unfortunately for me I went to the extreme & brutalised my body for years with an eating disorder Bulimia. Thinking if people only knew if they saw who I really was, I was so sad in so much pain & I continued punished myself. Yet to the outside world so together so strong.
Looking back from where I am now I had very low self-worth & confidence in who I was & I had developed a very toxic relationship with food.

Throughout our lives at times, we can take a hammering & sometimes instead of putting the blame on the people that hurt us we turn it on ourselves believing we could have done more we should have been more, more loveable smart, skinny, sexy, caring whatever we believe we are not enough of & we try to eat the pain away or fill the void with food. We become afraid of who we are & stop living to our potential & don’t see its our own negative beliefs about ourselves keeping us where we are.
To top it off the diet & food industry make billions off us yearly by preying on our emotional relationship with food. We see pictures of people so happy connecting while eating ice cream or fast food etc & we connect the emotion & chase those feelings. We see Impossibly slim & glamourous images flashing in front of us across medias & if our self- worth is low we can think if I just achieve that “I will be happy” “I will have that life”. And the truth is if you don’t change what you believe about you, how you treat you & how you view you, your level of happiness will remain the same because those negative beliefs & that hurtful inner critic will keep pulling you down.
